Ensham Mine

Ensham Mine is an underground coal mine located about 35 km east of Emerald, Queensland, operating since 1993 and using a bord and pillar mining method with a 16-year mine life. It is a significant economic contributor to the Central Highlands region, supporting local employment and businesses, while also uniquely hosting Nogoa Pastoral livestock within its mining areas.
